This past week’s release by Google of version 26 of the Chrome web browser has resolved an issue introduced in version 25 which distorted listing reports in Fusion on Windows-based computers.
In order to ensure that you are running the latest version:
- Start Google Chrome
- Type “
chrome://chrome” into the address bar
- The browser will automatically check to see if an update is available, and if so, will upgrade itself
CoreLogic, vendor for the Fusion system, recommends that users use a plugin version of the Adobe Flash Player rather than the “Pepper” version of the Flash Player which is bundled with Chrome.
How to disable PepperFlash and enable the Adobe version of Flash Player:
- Open Chrome
- In the address bar, type: “chrome://plugins”. Expand the screen by clicking the “[+] Details” in upper-right corner
- Use Ctrl-F to find the text: “PepperFlash”, then click the “Disable” link just below this location to disable the pepper flash version of Flash player
- Use Ctrl-F to find the text: “Macromed”, then click the “Enable” link just below this location to enable the Adobe version of Flash player (Note: if you can’t locate the “Macromed” in the plugins page – go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and download the latest version of Flash Player for “other browsers”).
